Before I could start my major project of making kitchen cabinet, I have practiced to make two raised panel doors to gain some experience. Here is a tutorial of how to make a raised panel door from scratch.
First you need to have your design, each of the raised panel door basically contains five parts, two rails, two stiles and one raised panel insert. You will need to calculate the size of each of the materials based on the following formula. 
I start with two pine boards, since it is mainly a tutorial, I did not show how to make wide board from smaller pieces. I use my band saw to rip the board for rail and stile, and use my table saw to cut board for making raise panel insert.
Use my thickness planer to plane the board into designed thickness.
