I had been planning to build a deck for a long time. I actually bought all the pressure treated lumber for almost 2 years, and stacked on the driveway. Just did not got time and energy to start the job until recently. My son was on spring break for one week. and I just applied for the building permit, so it is the right time to do it, so I took one week vacation and start the project.

Rent a hole drill from homedepot to help dig the hole for the post. Even with this tool, still a PITA to do it.
Start burying the post
Adding beam support before install beam.
Install beam, fastened with hot dipped ganvilized 1/2" bolt.
Now start installing the joister.
Finally start to install the surface board.
Install post for railing
Install rail
Install baluster
Install stairs
